Colors Paintball- September 28th - 3 Man Tournament Pictures

September 28th, 2008 - 3-Man Tourney at Colors - Review
Well, it was an overcast day up in Fremont today. Fortunately, the rain decided to hold back and let us play a great day of paintball outside. There were 11 teams there today, and the competition was pretty intense. Games went pretty smooth for the most part. We were able to finish by 2 o'clockish even though we had a semi-late start due to some teams arriving late because of construction delays and an incorrect GPS system.
First place was awarded to team "Real Pros" after only losing one game out of the whole day. They finished with 695 points followed by team "Rat Pack" with 570 points, team "40 Nation" with 450 points, and team "H8 Factory" with 425. The winning teams received the following prizes:
- 1st. Real Pros - 3 Proto Rails
- 2nd. Rat Pack - 3 Empire Reloader B's
- 3rd. 40 Nation - 3 Vents Masks
- 4th. H8 Factory - 3 Evil Packs
Thanks to the 5 teams that ordered team picture packages from us.
Your pictures should be online later this week and mailed out on Monday, Oct. 6th.
If you have any questions about the packages, you can email me at johnlink@triggerwalkers.com.

Colors 3-Man Prize Tourney - September 28th (with a recap of the last 3-man tourney)
Colors Paintball in Fremont, MI is putting on another 3-man Tourney on September 28th. The last 3-man I went to was pretty sweet. I got a chance to see the infamous Junior (some may know him as "bigg sexy") play the last half of the tourney.
At the captain's meeting, everyone decided to have the top 6 teams go through a playoff before awarding a winner. Unfortunately for team "Kill Billies," this decision worked against them as they were in first place entering into the finals with 650 points but got knocked down to 4th, missing 3rd by only 15 points and first by only 40 points in the end.
Team "40 Nation" ended up finishing first, followed by "GLS REFS" in 2nd, and "INNOCENT" in 3rd. This being a prize event, the teams won the following depending on how they finished:
- Rails
- 68/4500s
- Empire Reloader B'S
- Vents Masks
- 20/20 Thermal Masks w/fans
- Vents Masks
Be sure to check out this next 3-man event on September 28th. If it's anything like the last one, you're sure to have a good time. I'll be there taking pictures, be sure to talk to me (John) if you'd like me to cover you, only $30/team($10/player). I believe I got over 300 pictures of the teams that made it into the finals at the July 27th 3-man event.

Site Switch Over
Well, I switched the site over this morning to the new version (this version that you're seeing right now). Since some things are different I thought I'd point them out right away.
You will find the links across the top instead of along the left side. The paintball pictures are now shown using a different gallery format. Now, you can select the gallery you want to view, all the thumbnails get created on the page, and you click the thumbnail you want to view and it expands over top of the page without you having to load a whole new page. You should still be able to right-click on the expanded pictures and save them to your computer.
You'll notice I "restarted" the forum with only 1 board and 1 post. It didn't make sense to make a whole bunch of boards because, well, there probably won't be a whole bunch of posts so I just created the 1 board and you can post whatever you want in there.
If you notice anything weird going on with the site or if you think I forgot to move something over, just send me a quick email (johnlink@triggerwalkers.com) or post something on the forum. I hope you enjoy the new site.
